Everyone has heard or asked questions like these many times.
So had the siblings Sonja Mekadmi and Stephan Rasp.

The idea for MOODIKS began in the restaurant that Sonja runs together with her husband. Many interesting people come and go here every day. There is always someone there to ask for dvice or a good recommendation.
One day she noticed that the more useful recommendations came from people that were a better personal fit.

If a person Sonja valued, liked something, then most of the time she liked it too.
People who like each other are somehow similar, and this similarity creates trust.
Sonja wanted to use this insight to improve the recommendations that people give each other every day all over the world.
She thought of an app in which people meet who want to give each other relevant recommendations.

Sonja went to her brother and told him about her idea. At first Stephan’s analytical side looked for 1000 reasons why it couldn’t work. When he ran out of reasons, they decided to jointly design an app in which relevant recommendations are based on similar personality traits.
The relevance of the answer to a search query should also depend on personality.
MOODIKS!

Stephan had developed software professionally for 15 years and had worked in management for major software companies for over 30 years. In addition to Stephan’s decades of professional experience in the IT industry, his affinity to artificial intelligence gave the final impetus to build a prototype.

The idea for MOODIKS was born at the beginning of 2020: An app and internet platform for people who are similar to find each other and get and make great recommendations to each other. Not what is generally popular should count, but what pleases some who are similar in their personality. With this premise it was also clear that MOODIKS
would not be another rating platform. You recommend that you like to those who are
like minded. If you don’t like it, don’t recommend it.

Sonja Mekadmi is responsible for the creative side. She works in product management and on the design of the app and website. Stephan Rasp, as the experienced CEO, is the leader of the team and also acts as the head of product development.
A key tool to implement the MOODIKS idea is a scientifically validated personality test.
The selection, application and evaluation of the test (NEO-PI-R) is overseen by a qualified
psychologist. Any MOODIKS user who would like to receive suitable recommendations can take the test. As the number of users increases, a matching process will bring together the similarities of personality traits between people recorded in the test.
They are the basis for tailor-made ecommendations! With every single user who takes the personality test, the accuracy and the quality of the recommendations will increase.

And the MOODIKS community has something else in common: People who don’t judge each other, but want to exchange, inform and inspire.
Since the start of the project a year ago, hardly a day goes by on which Sonja and Stephan don’t think „I could use MOODIKS right now to give me a recommendation on something!“.
Today the MOODIKS team can proudly announce that the first release is now available by invitation only.
