Moodiks tries to find recommendations for you on topics that interest you. In order to find relevant recommendations, products or services for you, you can provide personal data about yourself, your preferences or even details about your personal character traits. You do not have to do this. But with more personal information we can also offer better search results that match your mood.

To create a user profile, we need a user name, surname, first name, your date of birth and your email address. You can also provide additional information about age and gender, marital status, level of education, profession, native language or foreign languages.

To improve search results we offer a test, based on questions we can better determine your character traits. We offer this test in two different detailed versions. You decide which data you provide to Moodiks.

The personal user data collected by Moodiks is aggregated into profiles to improve your user experience. It is not passed on to third parties.

You have the possibility to invite friends to Moodiks. This can be done via Whatsapp, Facebook, Linked In or by mail. If you use other platforms, such as Whatsapp, Facebook, etc., it may be that these platforms collect further data from you for processing. The platforms themselves are responsible for the processing of this data.

We are a global company and operate in different countries. When we transfer your information to other countries, we use and protect that information as described in this statement and in accordance with applicable law.

Moodiks uses various service providers for the provision of the technical infrastructure.

Moodiks has agreed to data processing agreements or non-disclosure agreements with these service

providers. The Data of users, are hosted on a German server. The server operator is an American service provider. The processing of data is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC), supplemented by extensive technical and operational safeguards to protect your data from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. Our security procedures are regularly reviewed and adapted to technological progress.

To ensure the availability of this website / app and to protect against misuse (hacking), full IP addresses are stored and deleted after 30 days.

Moodiks will not share your information with third parties unless required to do so by law.

When you contact Moodiks, we will use your personal information only for the specified purpose.

You have certain rights and choices regarding the collection and use of your information. You have the right to obtain information about the personal data processed about you by

Moodiks. Furthermore, you have the right to rectification or deletion or to restriction of processing, insofar as you are entitled to this by law.

If you wish to cancel your membership with Moodiks, you can simply send an email to feedback@moodiks.com. your personal data will be deleted after 2 months, if there are no other legal regulations or retention periods to the contrary. Recommendations will remain anonymous. If you do not wish this, you can deactivate your recommendations at any time.

You have the right to lodge a complaint about the processing of personal data by Moodiks, with a data protection supervisory authority.
